The advantage of our filters is that they filter according to a constant spectrometric pattern.
For night driving, the light transmission should be at least 85%.
Depending on the application, you choose your index: for night driving this is category 0, traditional polarisation is not allowed.
The anti-reflective option makes night driving more pleasant by limiting unpleasant indirect light.
Night driving is a very specific problem.
On the one hand, higher visual acuity is required than during the day.
On the other hand, you are dazzled by car headlights.
You can go from one extreme to the other in a matter of moments.
So how do you protect yourself?
If you wear simple sunglasses, you will lose all visual acuity. Blue rays are refracted the most, and it is what bother us. The lighting is LED, which doesn't help the situation. So, the developed lens cuts off these blue rays but stays in the 0 category, i.e. with more than 85% of the light rays. This lens is different from the lens for visually impaired which cuts off 450nm and is slightly brighter. As an option, you can purchase this lens with a gradient, which allows you to mask discomfort by lowering your head slightly. Thanks to the ND and UND coating, contrasts are enhanced, making travelling a pleasure.
You can also use night vision goggles for daytime driving in fog, which increases the contrast so much that you can no longer do without them.
Be careful, however, as fog is your worst enemy on the road.
